MOSAIKO is an urban pizzeria in the heart of Friedrichshain in Berlin. Their roots go back to Naples to the end of the 18th century. It all started with the great-great-grandfather Alfonso Di Napoli, a famous chef who served the finest Italian food to the Neapolitan aristocracy and nobility of the time. His sons opened their own restaurants in town. But after the 1st World War the food culture changed. They followed the trend and specialized in Neapolitan dough. The time of Neapolitan pizza was born and the first pizzeria 'Di Napoli' was open in Naples in the 20's which is still a cult today. Over the decades, the dough has been refined again and again and has become the heart of the family. Pasqualino called Lino was the first that take this 4 generation old family dough recipe on a world tour. From Naples to New York, Miami via Paris. This is how we enjoy Neapolitan cosmopolitan pleasure now in Berlin.

The traditional food

Our flour and all other ingredients come directly from Naples. The core of our work is the dough. This is made from simple ingredients with warmth, love and a lot of time to process this special dough after 48 hours fermentation. This makes it more digestible, lighter and healthier. It is important to us to conjure up the greatest possible taste with few and simple ingredients. Enjoy with us the flair, the attitude to life and taste of the Mediterranean.
